Short Bio

Professor Dr. Abu Yousuf Md. Abdullah has more than 29 years of academic proficiency as a faculty member of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) at University of Dhaka. Besides being a prolific academician, he is actively working in the knowledge industry. He is currently the Vice-Chancellor of Northern University of Business and Technology, Khulna (NUBTK) appointed by the President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh; Chairman of the Board of Trust of Northern University Bangladesh; and Chairperson at Northern International Medical College and Hospital and Northern College Bangladesh. Throughout his career, he has been a member of the Board of Governors of IBA, Dhaka University, and served as the Chairman of the Management Development Programme, IBA. During his tenure as Vice Chairman of the Tourism Development Association of Bangladesh, he contributed significantly to the development of the national tourism industry.
He is currently working with Professor Philip Kotler, Father of Modern Marketing, and his organization Kotler Impact Inc. Canada as a Global Advisor for the sustainable development of the world through modern marketing.
