2008-2012 Ph.D from Cardiff Business School, University of Cardiff, UK (Thesis title: “Investigating the Audit Committee Practices in Bangladesh”, supervised by Dr. Yusuf Karbhari and funded by Commonwealth Scholarship Commission, UK).
2008-2009 Post Graduate Diploma in Research Methodology from Cardiff University, UK.
2001-2003 MBA (Major in Finance), Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
1995-2000 BBA (Major in Accounting), Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Short Bio

Dr. Md. Mohiuddin is working as a Professor at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. In his 20 years of university teaching career, he has taught at both undergraduate and graduate levels in multiple institutions, both national and international. As a commonwealth scholar, he obtained his PhD Cardiff University, UK in 2012 for his research in ‘Audit Committee Effectiveness in Bangladeshi Listed Companies’. He is a member of ‘Editorial Board’ of a number of recognized journals in home and abroad. He is also the ‘Associate Editor’ of Journal of Business Administration (JBA), IBA, University of Dhaka.
